Job Description : | Position Description: We are seeking an overnight Sanitation Manager who is responsible for plant and production equipment cleaning, chemical handling, buildings, and grounds inspections and upkeep, as well as training, Compliance, and record keeping. Ensuring the improvement, upkeep, and following of the Master Sanitation Schedule. To Develop, Validate, Implement, and verify SSOPs, develop metrics for successful sanitation programs, plans and initiatives. Most importantly they will provide leadership and direction to the overnight shift including plant security and safety.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Review existing sanitation programs, plans & initiatives to recommend, develop, and implement new or/and improved programs, plans and initiatives.Completing all associated documentation in an accurate and timely manner.Responsible for training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problemsAssure compliance to all federally & state-mandated and local regulations by the production facility to assure food safety.Develops, analyzes, and maintains master cleaning schedule for plant meeting GMPs as well as managing a sanitation crew of up to 4-6 hourly employees daily.Routinely interfaces with other departments and vendors. Responsible for ordering departmental supplies,EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGEFood Safety, HAACP, HARPC knowledge is required. Proven ability to create, implement and lead sanitation initiatives in a food manufacturing environment.Successfully able to establish priorities and clarify expectations in verbal and written form.Ability to successfully support a team, foster teamwork, sharing of responsibilities take initiative, and open communication.Understand MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet), product specifications, and product labeling for chemicals used in performing cleaning and sanitation tasks.n Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Google documents, appsIndividual SkillsCommunication skillsAssertive professional mannerSelf-motivationProblem-solvingLeadership skillsAble to develop work instructions and documentationTraining skillsComputer skills in Word- Excel- and PowerPointFlexibility in work schedule- able to work periodically on a shift rotationEDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS;High School degree or GED required.
