We are looking for a confident individual to fill a supervisory role in the new Flow-Through Entity (FTE) Unit, which will handle multiple business taxes in addition to FTE. You must have the ability to guide, encourage and supervise employees whose primary function is to review and process business tax forms and applications, and to provide customer service to taxpayers through verbal, written and in-person communication. This position serves as the front-line supervisor of Treasury Customer Service Representatives. Supervisory experience is desirable as you will oversee the daily activities of the unit by assigning work to staff, setting priorities, directing work, and encouraging employee ideas. The area is dedicated to engaging employees while fostering growth and providing learning and development opportunities. Knowledge of the business tax laws and processing of Michigan Business Tax, Corporate Income Tax, and Flow Through Entity Tax is also desirable. Experience Four years of office experience involving administrative support office practices, including two years equivalent to an E7-level administrative support worker.
