|Job Description :
||Directly supervises the day-to-day activities of assigned employees, including but not limited to: planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems as it relates to customer relations and satisfaction.
Primary supervisory responsibilities include:
Oversee contractual obligations for contractors
Accurate and timely processing of customer invoices
Calculation, timely processing and audits of driver compensation
Monitor and track Ryder and Penske fleet invoices, settlement sheets, reconciliations and chargebacks to recoup money for Estes Express Lines and Big E Transportation, LLC
Administration of health insurance plan and appropriate payroll deductions for contract drivers
Preparation of all relative paperwork to ensure job vacancies are requisitioned accurately and timely via collaboration with the HR department
Preparation and follow up on background checks and specialty requests of customers, e.g., Home Depot driver ID badge requirement.
Administers worker’s compensation providing attorneys with detailed information. Ensures employee records are accurate and maintained
Tracks customer system data, prepares reports and analyses and ensures contractual obligations are met through customer communications and reporting
On-call during off hours to provide T-checks (cash advances up to $500 approval level) for drivers and vendors
Regular attendance is required.

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
3 years trucking experience preferred
1 year supervisory experience required
1 year of office management experience to include invoicing, customer service, contracts and handling confidential and proprietary information
Attention to detail and high quality results
Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills
Must be able to lift approximately 20 lbs., or more if required by the essential functions of the job
Must be able to comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct
Must be able to interact well with others
Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting
Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities
Responds well to questions; Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check
Must be authorized to work in the United States
