Department Overview:

The Americas Division to perform corporate functions and supervise U.S. entities. Established under the AD are the “Global Banking Unit (“GBU”), Americas Division” and “Global Markets Unit (“GMU”), Americas Division” which performs business functions. The Operations Risk Management Department (“ORM”) identifies and evaluates operational risks to which the New York Branch (“the Branch”) is inherently exposed as well as enables appropriate mitigating actions. Operations Risk Management (“ORM”) establishes and maintains appropriate policies, procedures and the operational risk management framework that incorporates Operational Risk Assessments, Key Risk Indicators (“KRIs”), and an oversight process through Operational Risk Management Meeting. ORM is directly involved in all operational risk related projects, matters and issues.

Position Overview:

Follows established guidelines for day-to-day, routine operational and administrative work. May be required to use some independent thought to handle complex issues. Focus on execution within defined parameters.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conducts the Operational Risk Management activities.
Conducts the Vendor Risk Management activities.
Supports review and re-design of the Business Impact Analysis (“BIA”) process to align with requirements for annual re-certification of the BIA updates.
Creates reports, schedules meetings, takes notes, prepares minutes and maintains files for ORM department.
Performs risk analysis and risk assessment, and provides coordination support for the Operations Risk Management Department.
Coordinates the Corrective Action Plan process and creates the report.
Coordinates the Policy and Procedures tracking process and creates the report.
Coordinates the New Product Approval process. and creates the report.
Coordinates and supports in conducting Operational Risk Assessment/Vendor Performance Review, Model Risk Assessment, and BCP BIA Review.
Conducts the Risk Register activities.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
1-3 years of related experience, in operational risqk management, vendor risk management, model risk management, or Risk Analysis.
Good computer skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Good interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skill
