||The Operations Manager is the key regional leadership role for Evergreen Cleaning Company and must have thorough working knowledge of all business operations and systems to maintain quality service while pushing for sustainable service growth. The primary function is to manage regional janitorial service teams by assuring they operate to established goals and standards. The role also has important administrative and growth functions.Service teams work independently to clean properties both day and night. Their workload is spread across a busy schedule of property locations throughout various industries. This role is crucial in supporting efficient team operations and overall regional success by assuring several key factors:Management & Maintenance of Operations (50%)Identify potential sanitation quality issues and assure service teams correct problems.Working knowledge and adherence to guidelines pertaining to building sanitation and workplace safety.Point person for navigating employee relations within service teams and relaying information as necessary.Main point of contact between owner(s) and service teams and our clients.Coordinate shift coverage and other staffing activities.Oversee equipment maintenance, repair, and purchasing.Communicate service logistics with office manager.Administrative (30%)Understand service team schedules and coordinate changes with staff and clients as necessary.Understand and communicate company policy to service teams and are accountable for their adherence.Provide progressive discipline in accordance with policy and owner(s) guidance when necessary.Work with employees to develop, set, and exceed performance goals.Provide input for office manager to approve timekeeping of service teams.Provide training and remediation to new and current staff.Administer 30-day new employee onboarding checklist.Business Growth (20%)Meet with stakeholders and local business partners to increase network.Estimate new work, including recurring and 1-time clients.Execute service contracts for new and existing clients.Coordinate new client onboarding and 1-time client jobs.Onboarding new clients requires initially working alongside service team for minimum of first week to gain understanding of logistics and troubleshooting service quality challenges.Prospect for sales using digital and physical methods.Continuously refine commercial business growth strategy and areas of expansion.Seek advanced training and/or degree/certification toward growing business acumen.At Evergreen Cleaning we have a positive, hardworking culture that this role must strive to uphold.
