To lead our team to operational excellence and develop our culture-driven initiatives.Plant Manager Job Duties: The Plant Manager / Operations Manager will oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and deliverables to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. This position will develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity.Plant Manager responsibilities include: · Planning, organizing, directing, and running optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations while meeting budgetary guidelines· Increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards· Responsibility for production output, product quality and on-time shipping· Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results· Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus· Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions· Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruiting, manage and develop plant staff· Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or reduction of overtime· Commit to plant safety procedures and lead all safety programs including chairing monthly safety team meetings· Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets· Address employees’ issues or grievances and administer any corrective actions while working directly with HR processes resulting in company success with engaging staff achievements· Influence positive decision making throughout all departments within the plant· Stay up to date with the latest production management best practices and concepts· Work directly with Maintenance staff to drive optimum equipment uptime and quality processing· Deliver on time all data reports to upper management while using reports to encourage strategic planning· Direct communication with end customers to ensure all facets of produced goods meet expectationsRequirements: · Proven work experience as a Plant Manager· Proven managerial experience· Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources)· Preferred familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise· Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship processes· Computer literacy· Ability to create accountability and to lead by example· Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills· Preferred BS degree in Business Management or related field but will accept similar management experiences as a substitute.Job Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:Flexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offSchedule:10 hour shiftDay shiftHolidaysWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:Bonus payEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Management: 5 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location |
