Job Description : | Packaging Lead (Packaging Project Management) Independent Marketing Alliance Position Title: Packaging LeadDepartment: MarketingReports To: Packaging ManagerFLSA Status: Salaried, ExemptPOSITION SUMMARY An experienced, action-oriented, enthusiastic, and can-do Foodservice Packaging Lead. Works closely with the Packaging Manager and foodservice suppliers on the development, execution, and project management of packaging for 16 private label brands. Ability to manage timelines with strong follow through and assess situations and make strong recommendations are a must. Candidate should have experience in foodservice, project management, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional partners. Candidates should thrive on teamwork and know how to manage the entire life cycle of a project and motivate both internal and external partners.RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for packaging project management; manage development, design, production, and printing of packaging projects and rollout books for IMA Brands.Responsible for day-to-day management of Fusion software system and production workflow process from conception through to final deliverableManage and collaborate with IMA Team, suppliers, advertising agencies, in-house creative to develop packaging design, specifications and implement packaging improvements.Maintain the IMA Packaging Reports and updates to be provided to all IMA Members and Staff on a weekly and as needed basis.Manages pre-press / production contractors to develop and implement packaging initiatives and troubleshoot between all packaging and marketing programsRequest and analyze vendor price estimates, review production capabilities, and evaluate vendor quality and production turnaroundKeep abreast of packaging industry changes, new innovations and equipment and make recommendations for updating designs and processes.Seek efficiency opportunities to lower costs, enhance sales by operating companies, and increase ROI for IMA members.Stay updated with all Federal, State, and other Regulations with reference to Packaging and Labeling for allIMA Branded items.Manages production contractors to develop and implement packaging initiativesUploads preparation of packaging artwork to the Digital Asset Management System (gathering, renaming, upload)QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience5 years Project management experience requiredPackaging Design / Labeling experience preferredPrevious experience in marketing/agency and or printing a plusFood Service or related industry knowledge preferredExcellent oral and written communication skillsDetail oriented and highly intuitiveThorough knowledge of Microsoft Office programs – e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, WorkfrontAbility to keep abreast of new regulatory standards for the organization.Must be able to deal with multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment and be able to juggle shifting priorities with ease.Fulfill requests and provide solutions in a timely, effective manner with a sense of urgency.Ability to act positively and efficiently under pressure.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payCOVID-19 considerations:We are following regulations from the county and CDCApplication Question(s):Do you know what a dye line is?Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Labeling: 3 years (Preferred)FDA regulations: 2 years (Preferred)Packaging: 3 years (Preferred)Project management: 5 years (Required)Work Location: Remote |
