Job Description : Patient Access Supervisor – Access and Capacity Management – (220000QC) Provide strong, dynamic leadership that mentors, develops, and guides team members to efficiently leverage the value of every call for patient contact and issue resolution. Directs the day to day operations of the Patient Access Center for USF Physicians Group. This includes staffing, training, performance monitoring, resourcing management, work flow design and evaluation. Collaborates with Patient Access leadership team to develop tactical and strategic plans that drive performance to meet key performance indicators. Participates in the management, planning and design of telecommunication systems, call flow processes and strategies for USFTPG practice sites. Assures that process linking calls to schedules is seamless. Works closely with USF Information Technologies (main campus) and USFTGP Information Services to maintain and manage the USFTPG telecommunications infrastructure and call center technologies. Collaborates with the clinical department clients to organize and communicate on call schedules to after hours answering service, as well as understanding scheduling and messaging needs and nuances. The Patient Access Supervisor executes the vision for the operation insuring the Center meets customer and organization needs. The Patient Access Supervisor is continually engaged in leading and inspiring their team in developing and documenting best practices in the performance of all duties and responsibilities. Educational Requirements: Associate’s degree. Bachelor of Science degree or higher preferred. Experience Requirements: Three years of Call Center/Contact Center experience in a position of similar responsibility and scope, or five years progressive experience in work of similar nature to that being supervised. Working knowledge of call center metric analysis, staffing models, scheduling, and telecom systems. Business Skill Requirements: Effective communication skills, both spoken and written. Exceptional ability to develop and manage results-oriented, service focused staffing teams. Strong mentoring and relationship building skills with ability to effectively manage group and interpersonal conflict situations. Computer Skills: Microsoft Outlook and Word with advanced Excel skills. Occasional travel to meet with clients at USF clinical sites. Preferred Attributes: Requirements reflect the minimum level necessary to be eligible for this position. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
