Job Description : GENERAL SUMMARYDirects and coordinates areas of Production Planning and Scheduling activities for both Delavan facilities, including 4 key growth product families. The primary function is to produce and deliver quality products on time moving towards the most cost effective manner.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)Responsible to plan, manage, and direct all production planning to deliver results on key performance metrics, including safety, quality, customer on time delivery of 95%, inventory, and productivity targets.Responsible to facilitate daily production meetings and identify root cause on misses.Problem solving cross functionally on planning key metrics.Continuous refinement of product mix data tables and lead time updates in E-Sales and SAP.Work with local management to assure coordination and integration of work flows, production schedules, budgetary conformance, utilization of personnel, machines and equipment and facilities.Manage process improvements for materials movement, inventory turns, and physical inventory accuracy.Participate in annual and strategic planning processes and execution of physical inventory.Facilitate talent development within the team. Provide hands on support to fill short term gaps within team, as required.Participate in SIOP, forecasting, and ATP process improvements.SKILLSSAP ERP system planning experience is required.Demonstrated ability to use or learn Power BI for data analytics is required for this role.Highly proficient Microsoft applications: PowerPoint, Excel and Word.E-sales/Big Machines experience a plus.Demonstrated evidence of participating, facilitating, and sustaining continuous improvement.Demonstrated evidence for being able to coach learning and change.Demonstrated evidence of daily management and accountability across a team-based organization.Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced, matrix environment satisfying multiple customers.Strategic planning/thinking skills, coupled with analytical and execution skills.Excellent Communication Skills – logical and organized written; verbal; listening; presentation.Ability to relate from the shop floor to the executive levels.
