| Job Description : | Job Description/Overview: The Manufacturing Plant Manager is responsible for managing people and equipment resources to meet delivery timelines and surpass customer expectation for quality. The Plant Manager is also responsible to grow talent internally and acquire outside talent when warranted. The Plant Manager will also be responsible for key business including but not limited to; quality, on time delivery, revenue growth, retention and growth of talent, and organizational health.The Manufacturing Production Manager is responsible for· Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations· Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards· Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping· Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results· Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus· Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions· Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff· Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime· Commit to plant safety· Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets· Address employees’ issues or grievances· Influence and learn from below· Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts· Understanding of workflow and requirements in CNC and sheet metal fabrication.· Provide coaching to employees to grow internal talent· Streamline processes and make improvements to production flows to reduce costs.· Able to manage 10-20 direct reports.· The ability to read and understand aerospace engineering drawings and specifications.· Be process and detail oriented.· Understand aerospace SPECs.· Provide strong leadership.· Performs daily duties and responsibilities without supervision.· Maintains a clean and organized work area and follows all safety regulations.· Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.Requirement: · Proven work experience as a Plant Manager· Proven managerial experience· Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)· Familiarity with Aerospace industry standard equipment and technical expertise· Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship processes· Computer literacy· Ability to create accountability and to lead by example· Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skillsJob Type: Full-timePay: $59,449.00 – $89,791.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payWork Location: One location |
