Job Description : A well-established, thriving mental health practice seeks a highly-motivated, detail-oriented, dynamic practice manager. As a practice manager, you will work directly with Director and staff to ensure effective, uninterrupted workflow and day to day operations. The practice manager will lead a team of administrative personnel, oversee insurance and billing, and proactively evaluate and improve processes and systems to maximize practice productivity.We want the smartest, hardest-working, problem-solving, get-it-done people. People like working with you because you know how to have fun while you’re crushin’ it.· Strong and fluent oral and written communication.· Extremely organized and a perfectionist when it comes to details – you minimize mistakes because you care about getting it right.· You like to work really hard – you aren’t watching the clock for quittin’ time because there is always more than needs to be done, and you like that.· You have a familiarity with healthcare insurance and basic insurance jargon.· You have experience managing a team of people.- You welcome feedback and coaching because you want to be your personal best and excel in this position.JOB REQUIREMENTS: Experience: Must have three years of experience in a healthcare managerial roleEducation: Bachelor’s degree requiredTechnologically savvyBehavioral health experience preferred (bonus, not required)Insurance & Billing experience requiredRESPONSIBILITIES- Supervise administrative personnel of 6 team players including, but not limited to, scheduling, managing performance, processing payroll and time-off requests etc.- Hire, train, coach, retain, and develop direct reports- Conduct performance reviews on direct reports, provide on-going feedback, and follow-up with appropriate written documentation– Process and report time off requests, sick leave, paid time off, etc- Oversee acute customer and employee issues that directly relate to administrative personnel- Respond to customer service complaints related to administrative personnel- Provide leadership, feedback, training, and support to administrative personnel to insure maximum performance- Works with leadership to ensure operations are running efficiently and effectively- Provides feedback and recommendations to the Director to improve the organizations’ efficiency and effectiveness and grow the practice- Run administrative staff’s payroll reports and provides them to the bookkeeper- Oversees the contract bookkeeper, insuring he/she has the reports needed to complete payroll- Works with Clinical Supervisor and Director to create and conduct effective all-staff meetings- Works with Clinical Supervisor to communicate and resolve practice and client issues- Verify health benefits and accurate deductions from payroll and communicate these items to bookkeeper- Change or terminate benefits, as neededTO APPLY: · Please include a short, customized cover letter.
