Job Description : As the Practice Manager, I report to the Director of Operations (DO). I function in a leadership position to manage the overall operation of our DOC clinic, ensuring consistent customer service and satisfaction, monitoring revenue and expenses, and maintaining a safe clinic for our guests and team. I will also provide expertise to ensure all guests receive high quality, efficient care.*Lead Outcomes*I lead the delivery of guest management and team member engagement throughout DOC clinics to ensure performance of all necessary functions of daily operations are met.I cover clinics as neededI offer an extra layer of support at the clinic level for all team membersI answer questions and provide reassurance and empathy for all team members and guestsCore ResponsibilitiesI supervise, orient and train clinic team members to ensure all policies, established practices and standards are followed.DOC WHY and ValuesEMR usePlatinum processProtocols within the office (i.e. how to send referrals, use billing profiles, chart appropriately, etc.)I work with the DO to develop, communicate and lead the execution of clinic goals and objectives (this may include revenue and expenses projects or tasks, clinic performance and operations, as well as, team retention and engagement).I make recommendations for improvement of clinic flow and processes. I work directly with the DO to implement changes.I handle the daily management of the clinic, including individual and team performance, as well as managing guest and visitor issues.I provide performance feedback, recognizing good performance, identifying and mentoring potential candidates for promotional opportunities and I bring larger issues to the attention of the DO.I monitor guest flow including, keeping guests informed, overseeing and seeking to reduce wait times as much as possible, acting on information provided by Web Check-In, and ensuring efforts are coordinated to provide the highest quality care and services.I manage/maintain the upkeep of the interior and exterior areas of the clinic and I work with vendors on signages, overall clinic appearance and key control items as needed.I ensure all compliance measures are met including overseeing clinic opening/closing, documenting incident occurrence reports, preparing for and completing clinic audits/reviews/surveys, and maintaining all safety precautions.I manage clinic inventoryI maintain the team schedules, approve timecards and PTO requests. I work closely with other clinic managers in the market to coordinate PRN team members schedules.I ensure x-ray room compliance remains within state guidelines.I work collaboratively with the DO to develop efficiencies and roll them out.*I exemplify the following competencies*I exhibit proactive leadership.I have behaviors and standards that model DOCs values and delivers a service experience that is unrivaled.I initiate conflict resolution.I have active listening skills.I am enthusiastic.I enjoy working as part of a team.I am flexible and adaptable.I am able to lift up to 50lbs.I am proficient in computer skills/EMR programs.*Experience*:I have 3 years of experience in a medical office setting.I have 1 year of experience in the supervision of staff.I have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.I have experience using an EHR system.*Education: *I have a BA/BS degree or long tenure as a medical clinic lead or manager.*Additional Info: *I must be available to manage the clinic as needed including call rotation with other clinic managers for evenings and weekend coverage.I am able to have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the clinic, including the ability to fill in open shifts, float to other work locations and assist on the weekends as needed.Job Type: Full-time
