Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience 7 years of experience with product or partner marketing Experience with product roadmaps and informing business decisions with data and consumer insights (e.g., quantitative and qualitative) Preferred qualifications: Experience at a consumer subscription based service Experience with integrated marketing campaigns Experience with go-to-market campaigns across digital and offline retail channels’ Experience working with partners and scaling programs globally Ability to communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management and work on multiple projects simultaneously Ability to work in a changing environment About the job Whether you’re on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product’s journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you’ll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end. As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be a strategic marketer who can help take the Google One product to the next level by collaborating with other Google product areas, such as Google Workspace, Nest, and YouTube to launch new Google features, bundles, and campaigns. You’ll own the end-to-end effort of developing user insights, influencing the product roadmap, and creating a go-to-market strategy for Google One launches. In addition, you will execute integrated consumer marketing campaigns, including leading messaging, blog post, public relations, video content, website, etc. This is a highly cross-functional role partnering closely with Research, User Experience, Product, Strategy, Finance, and Engineering teams. Responsibilities Manage an ongoing research agenda and deliver actionable insights that inform marketing decisions and influence product roadmap. Develop marketing strategy for new product and cross-Google launches including naming, core product positioning, key value propositions, messaging, and a portfolio of claims. Create marketing go-to-market plans, execute campaigns, and develop marketing assets (e.g., website, product videos, blog, public relations, and social plans) for Google One-led launches. Influence development of partner marketing plans to drive acquisition opportunities and oversee partner driven marketing campaigns.
