| Job Description : | 1. An employee in this position may be called upon to perform any or the following (These examples may not include all additional task required of the position)2. Assigns and supervises duties of staff, making recommendations on schedule changes and time-off request.3. Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.4. Ensures that all shipping, receiving and material movements are systematic and followed.5. Manage effectively the day to day operation of the warehouse and teamthrough the operational team leaders.6. Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.7. Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.8. Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.9. Oversees Inventory Controller to team develop systems and controls.10. Support the development of the Operational Team Leaders via ongoingcoaching and mentoring.11. Responsible for investigating stock discrepancies, including negatives,unfound and sold out and reporting the information to relevant Account Managers/Customers.12. Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.13. Develops departmental KIP’s and drives teams to meet goals.14. Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results.15. Manage the drivers and their workload and ensure full coverage where necessary.16. Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.17.
