This position requires coordination of materials, people, equipment and subcontractors to ensure job site quality meets GroundsPRO standards. The Production Manager will work closely with the Account Manager to identify staffing needs, perform hiring duties, and prepare daily crew schedules. This position requires the ability to work in a fast paced, error and accident free environment. Production Manager must have the ability to master the requirements of each of the positions that work in landscape maintenance and snow management.PrioritiesDevelop and Maintain a Strong Team Evaluate team strengths and limitations, augment as appropriateEnsure proper development of Crew Leaders and client relationship – ensure relationship is successful and fosters trustMentor Crew Leaders and crew team members to ensure effective implementation of GroundsPRO quality standardsPerform timely annual performance evaluations and personnel development strategiesIdentify team members with potential for growth/career pathFoster a cohesive team of Operations staff to ensure quick response for client expectations and quality productionSupport timely and accurate implementation of procedures and paperworkGroundsPRO Customer Service Standards · Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling and disciplining employeesMentor Crew Leaders in building long-term client relationshipsProvide assurance that contract obligations, quality standards and expectations are fulfilledProvide support to team members in performing and completing all client projects – we are the experts, they are seeking our adviceGroundsPRO Quality StandardsEnsure GroundsPRO Quality Standards are met by all team members for all clientsAccountable for profitability by diligent monitoring and analysis of productivityManages control system to ensure extra billable work is performed in a timely, accurate and profitable mannerAssist with training and enforcing all safety procedures and policiesAssists with the development and implementation of long-term enhancement objectives of sites in designated market areaManages direct cost of sites in designated market area, meeting budget goals and business objectivesManage service crews and assist administrative staff to satisfy contract obligations and ensure responsive concern for client expectationsSummary of Specific ResponsibilitiesManagement of Production on Snow Removal and Maintenance Accounts· Maintains standards and ensures quality· Implement procedures and processes, and coordinate routine and long-term tasks and schedulesJob Costing of Accounts· Develop and maintain schedule, accounting for and optimizing job locations, equipment allocation, crew skills, customer preferences, and job hours· Ensure contract compliancePersonnel· Recruit, hire and develop maintenance team· Maintain optimal standards of performance and initiate periodic evaluations· Act as liaison between field operations and general office management function· Represent company in professional groups/associations· Maintain active contact with people and trends in the industry that affect operationsQualifications and ExperienceRequired: · BS Degree (or equivalent) or 4 years’ experience in landscape maintenance preferred· Strong communication skills – English verbal, written and reading comprehension· Ability to develop strong client and employee relationships· Hands on approach to task management, employee, and customer interaction· Strong time management and organizational skills· Strong analytical skills, ability to meet critical deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail· Responsive to client’s needs and requests – build customer rapportPreferred: · Certifications in Landscape Maintenance and Irrigation· Bi-lingual Spanish· Computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel and Email· Personnel Development· Professional Demeanor and Appearance· Proven leadership abilities with organized and structured approach to crew supervision· Responsive with positive attitude and initiative, team oriented, and strong role modelJob Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 – $62,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:Bonus payExperience:Landscape maintenance: 3 years (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Required)Work Location: One location |
