As an experienced Continual service improvement and service transition professional, you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as we begin to mold the operations organization. Duties and Responsibilities: Continual Service Improvement (CSI) Manage and be accountable for the Continual Service Improvement (CSI), Service Reporting, Service transition, and processes to enable the effectiveness and efficiency of operations and services. Will be responsible for service reviews to improve service quality where necessary and conduct an internal audit to identify improvement opportunities and identify more effective ways of providing a service. Design and implement a framework through where Continual Service Improvement can be delivered. Investigating gaps/issues in current operational processes. Conduct and manage reviews on technical services to improve service quality and identify more effective and efficient ways of providing a service where possible. Responsible for creating, initiating actions, and managing improvement initiatives. Set targets for improvement in operational efficiency and effectiveness throughout the entire service lifecycle Make recommendations and set targets for improvements in service quality and resource utilization. Ability to challenge current state and motivated to improve the processes; ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Service Transition Management Plan and manage service changes efficiently and effectively. Manage risks relating to new, changed, or retired services. Successfully deploy service releases into supported environments. Set correct expectations on the performance and use of new or changed services. Ensure that service changes create the expected business value. Provide good-quality knowledge and information about services and service assets. As a successful candidate, you will need to possess several of the following: Ability to think and act both strategically and tactically Technical understanding with the ability to translate into business requirements Excellent relationship management skills Good organizational and planning skills Able to be creative and innovative with service quality, improvement, and solutions Ability to handle complex questions from all levels Ability to influence and motivate team Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills Relationship management and conflict resolution skills Ability to bring together and work with a team with varied backgrounds, i.e., Technical and business representatives Work with senior management to understand and add value to the strategic plans Statistical and analytical skills Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or related discipline required Minimum of 5 years working experience working in Media distribution or other related industry in operations or continuous improvement. Good understanding of Windows/Linux/UNIX fundamentals, including TCP/IP networking and knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems. Understanding of microservice architecture and cloud platforms like AWS. Experience leading problem solving and process improvement efforts required.
