We offer a clear path for career growth and professional/financial development.Job Summary: This position will strategically source & negotiate contracts and services with vendors, distributors, and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) in the post-acute healthcare industry to help the company offer best practice and services to our clients.Duties / Responsibilities: Source and validate new and potential vendorsContract negotiation and executionValidate and negotiate pricing and markupNegotiate Administrative Fee (share backs), rebate programs, and bonus (growth) incentives with vendorContract renewalsFacilitate, maintain, and resolve vendor issues and occasionally negotiate on behalf of individual memberRun competitive market analysis on a regular basis to determine best practices and pricingDemonstrate and convey general product/services knowledge to field quick inquiries from Sales team and memberGather, and distribute purchasing information to involved parties including vendors, sales representative, and employeesStrategize capitalizing on company growth and expansion to neighboring marketsComplete other related projects as assignedRequired Skills / Abilities: Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies within the healthcare marketStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to read, interpret, and explain policies and procedures used in purchasingProficient with Microsoft Office Suite (especially excel) or related softwareStrategic and critical planning and execution, with exemplary follow throughFamiliarity with procurement platforms is a plusMay require occasional travelWilling to work independently and/or in a team settingJob Type: Full-timePay: From $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingPaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Negotiation: 1 year (Preferred)Purchasing: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
