Job Description : Turn-Key Processing Solutions (TPS) is an industry-leading service business that provides construction planning, engineering and design, system integration, consulting and project management to clients in the industrial minerals, aggregate, frac sand, cement, heavy metal mining and transportation industries. We focus on providing the optimal solutions to our clients.We are looking for a Purchasing Manager, who is responsible for the profitable procurement and timely delivery of products for assigned projects. Includes managing supplier selection, all day to day activities related to placing and following a purchase order to completion, on-going participation in the purchasing supplier maintenance, supplier performance, contract negotiations, establishing payment terms, cost reductions and project price negotiations. Works closely with the Project Managers, Sales, Engineers and manufacturing facilities to achieve the goals of the company. Provides supply chain/inventory management and financial accountabilities. Procures product in accordance with all policies and procedures established by the company.Responsibilities: Develop and lead material cost management initiatives.Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier’s reputation and history.Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives.Purchase the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts.Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services.Prepares reports, documents, and consistently communicates purchasing activity to stakeholders.Position requires a high degree of daily detailed transactional work and follow up.Responsible for all aspects of the purchasing function from ordering of product to the final delivery.Requirements: Minimum 10 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Industrial, mining and aggregate equipment purchasing experience preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Must possess and apply knowledge of Supply Management and Purchasing principles, practices and procedures.Limited knowledge/understanding and ability to read blueprints helpful.Great problem solving and strategic buying skills.Ability to work in a fast paced and small company environment.High degree of creativity, flexibility and resourcefulness.Efficient and professional written and verbal communication skills/Turnkey Processing Solutions, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
