Job Description : | TWIN VEE CATAMARANS – QUALITY ASSURANCE LEADER Position Overview (Overall objective of the position)To ensure Twin Vee provides the highest quality product to our dealers and customers by developing effective quality control and assurance policies and procedures.Responsibilities / Duties / Functions / TasksDevise and establish inspection procedures, standards, and specifications for marine vessels.Review customer requirements and make sure they are met.Maintain electronic records of corrective action, trend analysis, and failure documentation for products and processes.Review each QC department’s DMS Board daily to track and manage KPI’s.Work with Engineering, Customer Service and Continuous Improvement departments to investigate and correct customer issues and complaints relating to quality. Implement system to notify production of quality complaints from customers and correct defects in production to eliminate future occurrences.Develop tracking and reporting metrics of Quality issues to provide weekly reports to production staff and management.Support the internal audit program.Design, develop and implement quality control training programs for the production team.Give suggestions on changes and improvements to make and how to implement them.Use relevant quality tools to ensure managers and other staff understand how to improve the businessAll other duties as may be required.Qualifications (Experience, Education, Required Proficiencies, Work Skills)Proven experience in a quality assurance position or any other related role.Must have the leadership skills necessary to develop a strong team with a shared sense of purpose.Ability to prioritize tasks and establish a focus and direction for the Quality employees.Experience working with quality databases to extract data and present meaningful and actionable information.Experience with presentations/training and sharing information with others.Understanding of quality assurance standards and methods.Ability to read and interpret documents such as engineering drawings and procedures, quality procedures and work instructions, test procedures, design documentation, Configuration Management documentation, operating and maintenance instructions, etc.Physical DemandsIf/when required, lifting, bending, twisting, pushing, and pullingWork EnvironmentIf outside work, able to handle dusty work environmentIf outside work, able to handle the heat (especially during the Florida summertime)Overtime and weekends as required and/or as projects dictateJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate:Fort Pierce, FL 34984: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Manufacturing: 3 years (Preferred)Shift availability:Day Shift (Preferred)Work Location: One location |
