It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.):Manage and direct the overall sales, operations and service functions on a daily basisProfit and loss responsibility for the assigned area. Perform all administrative and financial functions associated with the area’s activitiesImproves productivity in sales and operationsMonitor vendor compliance to company performance standardsEnforce security of freight in compliance with security policyEnsure safe working environment through consistent practice of safety programs and proceduresSelect and place staff, ensure staff receives training for their job activities, and define specific job assignments. Manage and monitor performance to ensure required levels of productivity and organizational objectives are metEstablish and maintain positive employee relations and promotes excellent internal communication.Oversee implementation of affirmative action programs as required The individual in this position must be capable of performing all of the essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.Knowledge and Skills: (The following minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain the advancement of otherwise qualified personnel)Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
