Job Description : The Hiring and Operations Specialist collaborates with Regional and Store Managers in all areas of store operations optimization across a multi-unit territory. This role builds and leads a friendly, service-oriented Store Manager team, sets a high-energy workplace, drives sales, increases profit, and demonstrates an engaged management style. The Hiring and Operations role is designed to train and develop into a Regional Manager in the near future while ensuring Scooter’s Coffee attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.*ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needsPrepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate positions openHands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks, etc)Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within scheduleAct as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection processPromote company’s reputation as “best place to work”Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes when making the final hiring decisionProvide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the teamOn-boarding New EmployeesConduct business analyses, evaluate performance trends, and examine store profitability to determine priority and most effective approach with Store ManagersReinforce brand standards and quality standards based on in-store observationsConsult with Store Managers on maintaining operational excellence and maximizing sales growthDetermine an effective business strategy by identifying unique needs of storesWork with Store Manager on timely resolution of compliance issues and foster culture of accountabilityPartner with Store Manager to identify sales building opportunities; assist in setting goals and implementing supporting tactics to reach targeted goalsExecute field training initiatives, which may include facilitating in-store training, providing training tools and support, and following up to measure training efficacyMaintain responsibility for financial performance of all stores in portfolioQUALIFICATIONSAbility to effectively teach and lead othersExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPassion for working with peopleEnergetic, fast-paced, flexible work styleAbility to work cooperatively in a team environmentStrong problem-solving, multi-tasking, and administrative ability to anticipate and respond to customer needsDisclaimerThe functions and skills described here are general in nature and represent the type of work performed, but they do not constitute an exhaustive list of the duties and responsibilities performed on the job.*Job Type: Full-timePay: $42,500.00 per yearBenefits:Employee discountFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:Management: 1 year (Required)Restaurant: 1 year (Preferred)Shift availability:Day Shift (Required)Willingness to travel:50% (Required)Work Location: Multiple Locations
