Job Description : | ABOUT THE ROLE Interior Define is seeking a Regional Manager (RM) to play a key role on our Sales team. The RM oversees a portfolio of showrooms (Define Studios) in a defined geographic territory, working directly with our sales team, Sr. Director of Sales Operations, and the VP of Sales. The RM will oversee all aspects of the business including financial performance, customer experience, implementation of company directives and vision, operational excellence, and talent management. RM’s are expected to be the voice of the store teams and are essential in a cross-functional capacity to elevate the store experience and ensure that Interior Define brand standards are met in all markets. RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze regional business results and provide solution-oriented strategies to sales leadership and executive team Constantly engineer and pilot new sales flows, tactics and engagements alongside your team in order to improve processes and performance Share wins and tactics across regions and commit yourself to helping up-level the sales team as a whole Conduct regional store visits and regularly report on findings to the Sr. Director of Sales Operations, VP of Sales, and corporate partners Regularly meet with and hold store teams accountable for performance and growth, talent management and development, brand awareness, product knowledge, and employee engagement rates Partner with CX and the entire sales team to offer best in class service to our clients Partner with the New Store Opening team and go on-site for new store openings in the region Partner with General Managers, Human Resources, and sales leadership to identify performance opportunities and implement and oversee performance improvement plans Partner with Merchandising and Tech in order to provide valuable customer feedback and contribute to strategic initiatives across functions Maintain a pipeline of talent for internal promotions, and heavily focus on Design Expert and General Manager development for next level opportunities Manage employee retention and partner regularly with recruiting and human resources to identify talent opportunities, and prioritize recruiting efforts Lead all recruiting, training, staff development and succession planning for the region Create an inclusive workplace culture by adhering to our core values and brand ethos ABOUT THE CANDIDATE 5+ years of management experience in a high-volume, complex business. (Bonus points if you have experience in startup DTC brands.) You are an entrepreneurial self-starter who is passionate about trying new things, consistently delivering results, and thinking outside the box to achieve goals You are an inspirational leader to your team and able to manage through change and capture buy-in from your direct reports.
