POSITION SUMMARY:
The role of the Regional Market Leader for My AE/My aerie Program will be centered on identifying, attaining and evaluating data to identify business growth opportunities and to mitigate sales losses. This position will be focused on sales and events, and will be committed to delivering the ultimate customer journey through maximizing brand and product education. The Region Market Leader will enhance the customer journey and create strategies that enable teams to translate their passion into brand love, loyalty and sales growth.
POSITION TITLE: Regional Market Leader – My AE/My aerie
REPORTS TO: Program Director, My AE/My aerie
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop a talent management strategy for their AEO My AE My Aerie teams while enhancing business value through tactical human resource planning and leading interdepartmental collaboration.
Provide management and strategic direction to the teams who are the curators of the ultimate journey in stores, ensuring all Influencers & Ambassadors feel empowered and possess the skills and tools they need to drive selling, maximize customer journey and elevate execution of product promotions and events.
Act as the ambassador for the AEO My AE My Aerie program throughout the field organization as well as cross-functionally through analyzing business results and trends both internally and externally.
Utilize tools to drive sales and events to overall elevate the customer journey for AEO.
DRIVE FOR RESULTS
Provide regular and timely performance updates to Program and field leadership on business metrics for My AE, My Aerie program stores.
Drive superior region/district/ store selling strategies that lead to revenue growth
Champion and manage MY AE/My Aerie strategic initiatives in the field.
Identify stores with business opportunities and create specific strategies to course correct opportunity doors to aid in improving sales with a progress to performance mindset.
Assess key tactics, driving sale growth to maximize best practices in all stores.
Create specific strategies to ensure events and My AE/My Aerie initiatives are consistently executed to drive sales growth and customer journey.
Manage consistent assessment of event results to implement strategies to maximize beneficial activities and mitigate ineffective activities.
Actively assess and evolve with the competitive landscape within the Region and create opportunities to address business challenges.
Coach and train Market Leaders to use all social media platforms to support the customer journey, brand love and loyalty.
Leadership & People Development
Field Expert/Ambassador for store teams with Regional & District Team Leaders to ensure programs and initiatives are fully executed by the entire store teams to align and lead cultural change in driving My AE My Aerie Program focus and support with Field Leaders and Store Management.
Cultivate an environment of continuous learning: Work with program training partners to ensure consistent, sales and event training curriculums are created and deployed to all stores.
Create a My AE My Aerie team of experts and customer advocates that champion our AEO values and ensure all initiatives and programs are consistently executed within your Region.
Create and monitor development goals and coaching priorities for all levels of team.
Ensure all required trainings are completed in a timely manner.
Ensure My AE, My Aerie staffing optimization by monitoring recruitment and hire process to identify top talent internally and externally.
QUALIFICATIONS:
5 to 10 years of experience in a leadership/supervisory position in a service-driven environment.
2 to 5 years of management experience, educating coaching and developing sales teams
Strong passion for creatively cultivating ultimate options for the customer’s journey.
Well versed in navigating all social media platforms.
Ability to read, write, and interpret general business information and metrics.
Ability to effectively communicate with and present information to customers, vendors, peers, and all levels of management.
Strong business analytical skills.
Able to use a calculator and calculate percentages and ratios.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills- must be able to navigate spreadsheets, create formulas and utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze data.
Work independently, with minimal supervision.
Skill in organizing material, information, people in a systematic way to optimize efficiency and minimize duplication of effort.
Skill in analyzing information, problems, situations, practices or procedures to:
Define the problem or objective along with relevant concerns or factors.
Identify patterns, tendencies and relationships to formulate logical and objective conclusions.
Recognize alternatives and their implications.
Frequent travel is required
Secondary education and/or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
