Summary In this position, you will be a key member of the Simplot Agribusiness Regulatory Team responsible for proactively stewarding our global fertilizer and feed product portfolio from concept and labeling through registration, sales and use. Key Responsibilities Product Management Provide regulatory guidance on fertilizer and feed product concepts, development and labeling in cooperation with sales, agronomic services and other teams Prepare fertilizer and feed labeling for the AgriBusiness product lines, including organic offerings, for our North America and Global markets Manage all relevant product testing and other documentation to support product registrations Partner with our production facilities and suppliers to ensure quality and efficacy, and accuracy of technical information Provide final regulatory approval for production, label printing and use Provide State Registration Manager with product documents and input as needed to obtain product state registrations and resolve state labeling issues Review all fertilizer and feed product-related sales and marketing materials for regulatory compliance Partner with Regulatory Manager of compliance to identify and resolve concerns, including conducting internal audits, investigating deficiencies, violations, complaints or penalties, and working with fertilizer regulatory officials to resolve issues Manage additional products or product lines as needed Government, Industry and Customer Relations Develop and maintain relationships with government officials and stay current on your knowledge of laws, regulations and final rules, and industry issues Engage with feed and fertilizer industry work groups and committees as an advocate and representative of the Company Communicate regulation changes and their impact to our key stakeholders Monitor and advise on emerging industry trends Participate in training related to feed and fertilizer regulations and overall regulatory compliance Typical Education Bachelor’s degree required, equivalent education and experience may be considered Relevant Experience 5+ years of experience with a fertilizer program Other Information Departmental Supervise and support your direct report, including development, goal setting and performance reviews Contribute to the development, implementation, training, updating and auditing of the team’s registration and regulatory program to ensure compliance Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for your position, and contribute to departmental process and procedures Manage budget for fertilizer and feed program Serve as resource or back up for other team members Job Requisition ID: 8388 Travel Required: Up to 25% Location(s): Remote – USA Country: United States Position Pay Range: $85,000.00 to $120,000.00. This range is estimated for the Regulatory Manager Fertilizer position in the state of Colorado, USA. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location and experience.
