The Regulatory Manager Seed and Chemical manages and oversees all aspects of registration and regulatory needs per state and federal regulations. Responsible for keeping current on all compliance needs and following through to maintain compliance. This role is an expert that provides direction and guidance to improve processes and establish policies. May represent the organization to regulatory authorities and other partners. Performs work assigned by others. Technical leadership of assigned projects. May develop solutions to complex regulatory problems.
Support all Innvictis regulatory activities for Seed.
Monitor and Review Seed Regulation to maintain compliance.
Review product labels, working with Graphics, for completeness and compliance with various state regulations. Submit and maintain state Licenses.
Submit sales reports as required for tonnage to be completed.
Maintains awareness and ensures protection of intellectual property.
Manage and monitor products to ensure compliance with guaranteed analysis.
Support Innvictis Regulatory Managers, (Pesticide Products).
Prepare for possible regulatory work outside of the USA.
Bachelor’s degree required, equivalent education and experience may be considered
3+ years of regulatory experience in agriculture
Other InformationAdvanced understanding in a biological, technical, risk analysis, QMS, or regulatory discipline, filling the role of a subject matter expertExpert in and ownership of one or more technical areas, implementing solutions in these areasKnowledge of regulatory requirements and measures for containment and confinement of regulated articlesSkilled in developing and writing consistent and accurate regulatory reports and submissions that meet the requirements of various regulatory agenciesExperienced in using templates and consistent language to ensure efficient and optimal regulatory submissionsProven use of critical thinking skills to solve complex technical problems and develop appropriate regulatory data and textStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperienced at leading and managing team effortsExperienced at effective interaction with collaboating partners, vendors, and contactorsExperienced at overseeing regulatory documentationInteracted effectively with regulatory authorities in more than one countryExperienced in developing regulatory responses, developing response plans and milestonesUnderstands biotechnology and food safety regulations in appropriate countriesHas lead team efforts interfacing with regulatory scientists and other partners, to ensure projects are on track and resources definedExperienced at managing relationships with regulators, industry groups, and vendorsExperienced at mentoring and training regulatory team membersHas worked collaboratively to influence both regulatory outcomes and team culture
