All newly hired employees must meet the vaccination requirement or file an exemption prior to their first day of employment.Job Summary: The Supervisor of Housing Maintenance & Residential Lock Shop is a supervisory leadership position which provides positive management skills in the daily operation of Housing Maintenance Trades including the Residential Lock Shop. The position includes supervisory responsibilities for hiring, training, counseling, motivating, and evaluating employees. Duties will include, but not limited to the following:Responsible for providing leadership and direction for Housing Maintenance Trades including Residential Lock ShopPrepare schedules for Housing Maintenance including Residential Lock Shop for campus.Responsible for coordinating renovation projects with in-house personnel.Review consultant prepared documents to ensure the best control and energy reduction strategy is implemented.Develop training programs for each craft area.Maintain financial recordsReview units work to ensure state and federal statues and codes are met.Perform related duties as requiredOversees Residential Lock Shop trades worker whose duties include maintenance for key database, keeps records for the internal operation of the lock shop, maintains and updates campus pinning records and charts, oversees assigned student staff in developing, implementing, and maintaining housing’s keying system, reviews and provides cost estimates for locking systems, coordinates new project keying and security coordination with facilities services for Housing projects.
