We are seeking Software Product Management Director who would be responsible for the development and execution of the SaaS Product roadmap. This individual will oversee new products from their conception to launch, along with each new iteration and responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from the product strategy phase to the go-to-market phase. This is a product focused position aimed at delivering market leading differentiated products. The position will work closely with other divisions within FARO to ensure product roadmaps meet market requirements in the necessary timeframe. The position will report to the Senior Director of Software Product. How you will make a difference @ FARO Educate internal organizations on cloud deployment models, operational requirements and foster alignment between PM, Sales, Support and Dev team Partners with Engineering, Sales and Customer Success to develop new products and enhance existing products as well as communicate critical market needs and time requirements, including conducting voice of the customer research Lead operationalization of supported deployment models including and not limited to privacy, security and multi-regions operational compliance requirements. Support PM leadership for pricing strategies for core and non-core cloud native applications by developing required cloud infrastructure and cloud operation costs modeling, margin analysis and related operation items. Develops a product roadmap and manages the release of products, including beta programs and key partnerships, through the product life cycle Delivers MRDs with customer value driven prioritized requirements for products that serve different markets Conducts complex competitive analysis for specific service products or product lines Understands technical and business environments. Assists with the development of strategies to meet business objectives Develop and execute annual business plan which includes revenue, margin, and volume by product Develop materials and effectively execute training of sales and applications employees throughout the company on solutions and value Leads others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions Analyze platform data to make decisions and bring improvements to user flows and increase product stickiness Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services Required Education and Experience 4-year degree from an accredited university in a technical field such as engineering, computer science or related field OR a combination of education and relevant experience A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Director for SaaS Products Experience leading cross-functional teams: NPI, marketing and sales, service support Industry and application related knowledge in large scale cloud platforms Experience in commercialization of cloud-based software solutions Knowledge of Agile Software Development Processes Knowledge of salesforce.com and SAP (Asset) Knowledge of AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operations) (Asset) Required Qualifications Ability to translate market opportunities into product roadmaps and concise, actionable requirements for engineering execution Ability to work in a matrix organizational structure and influence across functions Proven project management skills Ability to prioritize complex business requirements to ensure business objectives are met successfully Must be able to demonstrates depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized discipline or field Capable of communicating difficult concepts and negotiating with others to adopt a different point of view Excellent written and verbal communication skill Supervisory Responsibilities May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity May directly lead other Product Marketing Managers or Engineers FARO offers FARO has excellent benefits for you and your family.
