Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in brand marketing or brand strategy.
Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams, and building alignment and consensus.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience successfully launching large-scale, creative consumer campaigns spanning online and offline activations.
Experience managing creative, media, and digital agencies to develop highly engaging content.
Experience delivering quality output with tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Experience influencing and building alignment across highly cross-functional teams spanning Product, PR, Policy, Legal, Marketing, and more.
Strong brand strategy, project management, and leadership skills to manage complex projects that balance multiple priorities.
Demonstrated ability in leading in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
About the job
As a Safety Brand Marketing Manager, you bring your creative energy, strategic thinking, brand marketing expertise, a highly collaborative spirit, and an ability to execute large-scale marketing programs.
Our team is tasked with building and amplifying the Safer with Google platform across the organization from brand campaigns and activations, to policy events, to product area marketing and the in-product experience. You will be a thought leader and standard setter globally, helping to craft and implement a one-Google story on the critical, high visibility topic of online safety. In this role, you will build brand trust by helping more people feel safer with Google.
You’ll bring to the team a combination of brand marketing and brand storytelling skills to communicate the Safer with Google platform to users and thought leaders alike.
Responsibilities
Roll out the Safer with Google brand platform across marketing to build a consistent, one-Google message across all key surfaces.
Manage large cross functional product integrations and national campaigns for Safer with Google.
Scale communications and marketing efforts globally, focusing on EMEA and APAC. Creating playbooks, driving localization, and partnering closely with regional teams to oversee creative adaptation.
Develop scalable creative assets to educate thought leaders and users on top privacy and security topics.
Work cross-functionally to develop and craft narratives for priority products and teams across Google.
