This position
As the Senior Immigration & Mobility Manager, you oversee the success of the internal global mobility and immigration programs for DocuSign. From supporting our employees, to working with cross functional partners, to managing multiple vendors, you are responsible for ensuring our policies and programs meet the needs of our organization. You play a key role in ensuring our programs are in compliance with local laws, that our policies capture the company’s intent, and that access to program information is readily available when needed.
This position is a people manager reporting to the Senior Director, Global Benefits & Immigration and Mobility and is designated Flex.
Responsibilities
Develop ongoing strategy and processes to cultivate a best in class immigration and talent mobility strategy
Manage relationships with key vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and excellent delivery of service to DocuSign and its employees
Provide back-up and support for the team members who are helping employees through sponsorship, transfers and other immigration and mobility related events
Provide and/or support problem resolution to all stakeholders, including candidates, managers, recruiting, finance, tax, equity and payroll
Communicate with various internal and external resources for the purpose of planning, implementing, monitoring and training on immigration matters as well as domestic and international transfers and related processes
Develop, implement and evaluate metrics for global immigration and mobility programs to measure the efficiency and cost effectiveness of the program and provide reports to management
Lead and develop a small team of global mobility and immigration specialists
Advocate for a remarkable employee experience
Basic qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Track record of partnering and developing deep working relationships with all levels of clients and stakeholders (senior HR, business leaders, recruiters, etc.)
Experience with U.S. and global employment-based immigration visas and regulations and permanent residency processes (example visa types F-1 OPT, J-1, H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3, O-1, PERM and Global visas)
Relocation and/or Mobility Tax experience
12+ years of relevant experience (at least 6 years corporate in-house global mobility and immigration experience)
Preferred qualifications
Ability to approach mobility with an innovative lens that strategically supports business development, growth and change in various emerging and developed markets
Strong implication-thinking skills and strategic problem-solving ability
International work experience is a significant advantage
Positive people-person with grit who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail while operating with a sense of urgency
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Vaccination requirement
