This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA’s preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.
This role is located onsite at our TIAA office in Virtual, NY, USA but will currently be remote.
The anticipated term of this engagement will be 10 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.
Develop comprehensive, integrated marketing strategy and plans to promote TIAA annuity and investment products, including CITs and our fixed and variable annuities. Create strong relationships with key business and marketing partners to provide leadership, guidance and support including marketing recommendations to business partners. Provide marketing program management by leading and managing execution activities for the CIT product development initiative and rollout to our core NFP business. Inform and help develop customer journey maps. Manage reporting for the marketing workstream, including budget. Lead and manage the rollout and launch across a team of marketing and communications disciplines leveraging both internal and external resources.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Objective- Serve as a subject matter expert across marketing for our CITs developing messaging and positioning that will inform all marketing activities. Own rollout and program management responsibilities by proactively managing the scope, timeline and resources assigned to the project. Work with business program manager to develop our marketing strategy in a comprehensive manner.
In partnership with strategic cross organizational team and key client marketing partners:
o Message maps and positioning
o Marketing strategy and rollout plan
o Provide appropriate inputs for IT, Legal and Process implications
o Identify dependencies with mission critical projects
Develop the program roadmap and high level critical path, including:
o Workstream objectives
o Key milestones and deliverables
o Strategic roadmap and high level timeline with key milestones mapped out
o Outline all deliverables and appropriate owners as starting point to the plan
Manage launch activities and status reporting associated with key deliverables including but not limited to:
o Integrate with organizational team and client marketing for customer journey mapping
o Effectively integration with Client Marketing and Creative teams to rollout the marketing plan across all audiences
Foster collaboration across key stakeholders and contributors throughout the organization

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of CITs, fixed and variable annuities and retirement plan industry (preferably 403(b)); TIAA business knowledge a plus
Demonstrated experience and in-depth knowledge of retirement plan menu investments including CITs, annuity products and retirement income options.
Agility in moving between strategy and executing with excellence.
Ability to manage a high volume of work and attain results in a highly fluid and complex environment.
Seasoned relationship builder able to establish effective partnerships at varying levels of the organization
Strong marketing communications and product marketing skills.
Experience in managing the execution of marketing communications plans from the strategic to the tactical elements
Ability to understand and influence tactical details, while identifying and communicating items of primary importance.
Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills.
Minimum Experience/Education Requirements
Minimum of 10 years financial services experience is required, marketing annuities a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Potential Salary: $64.45 USD
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
