Products and Technology
We’d love to have you join our Business Technology Product team supporting the Marketing function! We’re a globally distributed team made up of Product leaders, architects, engineers and program managers delivering event technology excellence and building the first-of-its-kind business streaming technology for Salesforce. We’re looking for a leader whose strengths include people management, executive communication (written and oral), adaptability, planning and organization. As a manager, you’ll be responsible for the career growth and development of between 2-5 employees and/or contractors. You’ll serve as the central, accountable Product team leader in Business Technology across internal and external cross-functional partners on Salesforce+ (our video streaming technology!) – responsible for shipping products while completing critical operational needs such as work allocation across teams, stakeholder management and more.
Desired location for this role is flexible in the US with most team members distributed between PST, EST and IST. It’s important to note that your role in Business Technology is supporting both a 24×7 video platform and major events, which requires work outside of typical business hours during some launches – but your management team monitors this “extra” time and is sure to protect your work-life balance holistically with unlimited PTO, flexible working hours, Wellness Days 1x per month, social events, and more.
Your Impact – Responsibilities
We’re working to build the premier platform for streaming business content and we want you to help lead us. Success will be measured by your people management skills, assessed yearly by your direct reports and direct manager, as well as through your ability to pull together a diverse set of product managers & their teams (reporting into different organizations) to execute a joint product roadmap across Salesforce. You’ll be responsible for executing product vision and strategy, roadmap delivery and communication, release planning, requirements gathering, functional specification all the way through to customer enablement and success.
You’ll be regularly working with senior leadership to develop and execute against Product Strategy largely informed by Salesforce executives, for and beyond our most important events of the year – including Dreamforce, Salesforce’s largest event (150k + people)! This is a fantastic opportunity for visibility in a large organization.

The business operations of our streaming service Salesforce+ are unique in that we have a multi-faceted team managing different components of the product. Our ‘One Team’ is comprised of internal Business Partners, external agencies, business technology peers and more. At a high level, our business partners ‘Drive/are Accountable’ for the overall product strategy development and prioritization of our overall backlog while our team ‘Contributes;’ In Business Technology we ‘Drive/are Accountable’ for execution excellence around plan, buid, and monitor. Some of the things we’ll need include your ability to:
Lead cross-functional partnership and strategy refinement
Influence/inform Product strategy/roadmap
Embed data-driven decision making into your daily work
Executive Stakeholder Communication/Relationship Management
Offer executive-level content summaries ahead of Steering Committees with Executive and Senior Vice Presidents (as well as other Leadership forums)
Anticipate the needs of our business partners and proactively communicate status to avoid escalations
Offer timely, helpful and nuanced responses to inquiries, bugs, escalations and more
Exceptional Organizational / Biz Ops Skills
Have a strong sense of ownership to do (and enable!) the work to drive end to end product development
Document standardization, centralized organization
Helping define, align on processes and holding team accountability to following
Strong judgment and escalation communication skills
Ample proactive and timely reactive communication
3+ Years of successful prior people management experience, including:
Excellent interpersonal, communications, and people leadership skills
7+ years of product management or similar experience, including:
Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into an actionable product roadmap
Ability to work in a team of other PMs who have dependencies on you and vice versa. Others would leverage much of what you work on with corresponding needs for their functionality.
Scrum methodology hands-on experience
Excellent in stakeholder management , follow-up and trust building.
Leadership DNA, proven ability to excite and lead a product team, including:
Professionalism, dedication and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions.
Domain expertise in launching and managing media services or event technology
Functional experience working in Business Technology/IT product management
Technical experience in SaaS product management, preferably in both B2B and B2C products across tens of thousands of users
