As a Senior Project Manager within Information Technology, you’ll be responsible for executing long-term strategies through the successful completion of several interconnected projects. This highly collaborative role requires excellent leadership, communication skills, and business acumen. You’ll partner with internal and external stakeholders to successfully complete projects that create value for our customers and drive NFI’s strategy forward. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Supports prioritized initiatives that are sponsored by the EVP / CIO. Controls and oversees the projects in a portfolio, ensuring adherence and accountability for approved budget, scope, and timeline. Suggests and implements new programs/projects that directly support the strategic direction of NFI. Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with senior leadership and functional managers throughout the organization. Interfaces with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and progress. Directs the planning, development, and implementation of project efforts that utilize information technology solutions, principles, standards, and best practices. Works closely with project resources to proactively and regularly identify risks/issues/challenges and address them appropriately. Facilitates technical and non-technical project meetings to reach consensus, document decisions, drive the timely completion of actions, and ensure continued forward progress is achieved. Drives continuous improvement. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by the role and determined by management. Expectations: BA/BS degree strongly preferred, will consider comparable work experience. 12+ years of relevant experience is preferred. Understands deeply the end-to-end nature of their job function and is able to articulate clearly the scaling limits in their area, while proposing solutions to them. Uses their expertise to develop ideas that enable many potential futures without knowing exactly what the future is.
