Job Description : | JOB DESCRIPTIONSummary/ObjectiveThe Service Quality Manager (SQM) is responsible for ensuring all A&W Energy products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach the consumer. The SQM will lead the inspection of all final products to make sure they have been built with compliance to legal standards and meet customer expectations. A great SQM is thorough and observant with an eye for detail and understands all customers’ requirements.The goal of this role is to help preserve A&W Energy’s reputation by ensuring that its products and services are capable of driving sustainable growth.Essential FunctionsSupport District Manager (DM) on developing a strategy for the Pump & Flow Services businesses; including but not limited to growth strategy, people and process development.Keep close attention to competitors’ offerings in the market to secure A&W Energy stays ahead.Work closely with the sales team to improve product and services penetration by building relationships with the customer maintenance managers and field locations supervisors and staff.Provide training to customers and subordinates on all product lines. Create and develop all relevant materials to support the proper usage of A&W Energy products.Analyze all functions and features of existing and new products and evaluate acceptance by customers.Coordinate with various departments and ensure optimal level of customer satisfactionFoster team environment, develop employees through mentoring, leadership and training programs, direct recruitment and staffing needs and manage health and safety issues for the operation.Establishes credibility throughout the organization to be an effective listener and problem solver of people issues.Devise and review specifications for products or processes. Including visual and dimensional measurement tests. Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements. Approve the right products or reject defectivesSupervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback. In the shop or field environment.Drive new relationships and business plans to develop a new quality response service teamSubmit detailed reports to appropriate executivesBe on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient proceduresDocument inspection results by completing QA reports and logs. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position, and business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Longer hours, evenings and weekend work will be necessary frequently.TravelThis position requires up to 25% travel.Required Education and Experience1. Associates Degree with minimum of 5 years related experience preferred.2. Minimum of five years of Leadership experience3. Knowledge in metallurgy, instrument calibration, material specifications required4. API Q1/Q2 knowledge.5. English Proficiency Required.
