Job Description : | The Senior Director of Enterprise Information Management is responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership, and governance to teams responsible for all aspects of data and information management in the ecosystem. The scope of this team includes data integration platforms, analytical data modeling, report presentation layer design and delivery as well as master data management design and delivery. The team consists of a scrum master, data engineers, mdm analysts and data integrators. Key Responsibilities Sets strategic direction on data and information delivery capabilities, processes, and related technologies in accordance with current and future goals of the organization. Leads data and information project delivery teams including scrum master(s), data engineers, mdm analysts, and data integrators as well as managing the relationship with our managed service provider for data and information operations. Partners with Coinstar’s Enterprise Architecture function to establish/maintain all architectural aspects of the company’s enterprise information lifecycle management. Oversees all enterprise information development life cycle processes, controls, performance metrics, and associated continuous improvement initiatives. Establishes/maintains strategic vendor relationships integral to the team’s success in meeting/exceeding company expectations. Leads enterprise information staffing strategy decision-making with a focus on optimizing scale, cost, quality, and speed. Works with strategic partners and team on infusing a culture of innovation associated to the strategic direction of the organization. Holds managed service providers accountable for achieving SLAs aligned to enterprise information delivery. Establishes/maintains a focus on creating capacity to address small enhancement requests as a part of our managed service relationship in addition to incident resolution. Owns responsibility of reporting back to non-technology leaders the health of the enterprise information management department’s operations along with articulation of opportunity areas and associated plans for improvement. Leads budgeting, forecasting and attainment oversight for enterprise information management cost centers. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required. 15+ years’ proven experience in enterprise information engineering leadership roles. Proven track record of successful delivery of global corporate programs (cloud migrations, technology stack upgrades, enterprise analytics, etc). Experience with enterprise information management delivery frameworks, communities of practice, maturity capability assessments and self service centric design. Management experience with equivalent-sized organizations. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to attract talent, encourage the organization, and develop the next generation of leaders. Ability to build trusting, significant relationships with peers and partners, both internal and external. Excellent track record in collaboration. Skilled in enterprise information design principles with a focus on scale, reliability, performance and maintability. Ability to manage distributed teams across multiple time zones serving country level unique business needs. Knowledge of data asset management life cycle principles. Knowledge and experience implementing Continuous Delivery model. Experience with Continuous Integration, Build systems, and Source Code Control tools. Be open to continuous learning and committed to ongoing self-improvement. Initiate and participate in interpersonal efforts to improve overall group productivity and test effectiveness. Contribute to overall test strategies. Business Travel Position requires the ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Physical Requirements Sedentary work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects.
