Short Description Oversees a group of accountants to ensure the accuracy and maintenance of the ledger accounts and the resultant financial statements. Oversees the distribution of cost analysis and audits to upper management while coordinating the installation and monitoring of cost control systems. Establishes medium to long-range plans for the work groups managed to achieve broader functional or cross-functional objectives. Resolves conflicts between work teams over resource allocation and other critical issues. Defines the goals and objectives for one or more function business group. Work is performed with minimal direction and reviewed by senior management. Anticipates and identifies complex business needs and recommends solutions to complex problems. This job has supervisory responsibility.
