Our Organizational Transformation team has a fantastic opportunity for a Sr. Project Manager. Our ideal candidate has a strong interest and passion to make an impact in advancing organizational transformation initiatives that drive and enhance organizational and cultural change, business processes, supporting systems and technology. They will provide and apply extensive project management skills and principles to lead, oversee and ensure delivery of projects to support our goal of increasing inclusiveness, diversity, and racial equity in the workplace. Does this sound like you? Essential Responsibilities: Design, implement, evaluate, and audit project management processes and templates. Continuously benchmark project management performance to identify improvements and achieve higher maturity in project management capability. Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation. Develop project plans that include all required artifacts and checkpoints; reviews project proposals or plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements and allotment of available departmental resources to various project phases. Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones and required activities and tasks. Manage project risks including detection, assessment and appropriate response strategy. Oversee the development of business requirements which align with the overall objectives and manage scope to plan. Manage the entire project life cycle of detailed project plans; develops and delegates project tasks including test plans and acceptance testing. Oversee project related communications including, but not limited to, project status reports, standards, annual project prioritization documents, and executive status reporting. Additional Responsibilities : Act as a coach to project staff, executives and others who need assistance and advice regarding project management practices. Review/approve work plans of external service providers or consultancies contracted to execute project(s). Ensure cross-project dependencies are identified to establish priorities in project completion. Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle; confers with project staff to outline work plan. Monitor project activities, ensuring the currency, quality, and integrity of the information while providing consistency in content and “look and feel”. Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience; Master’s specializing in business or project management preferred. Typically requires five or more years of related work experience, including three or more years managing projects. Experience with multiple project/program management methodologies such as PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), agile and Managing Successful Programs (MSP). A proven track record of managing successful programs across a range of project types using agile methodology. Project Management Professional (PMP) or Business Process Improvement (BPI) certification preferred. Requires experience with projects involving multiple functional domains. Requires extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of multiple project management methodologies, tools, resource management practices and change management techniques. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
