||Position OverviewThe Inventory Manager will maintain the organization’s inventory by managing, ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements. This role requires strict compliance with all company policies and local and state laws and regulations.Job FunctionsEnsure the dispensary’s compliance with security, inventory and local and state regulationsTakes a proactive approach to inventory management to ensure consistency in product supply.Maintains consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limit as inventory dwindles.Establishes and maintains backup source for high-demand items.Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery.Provides inventory reports to executive leadership, store management and others as required.Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors.Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates upgrades to related database and/or software under the direction of executive leadership.Conducts recurring audits as well as frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.Performs other related duties as requested.Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.Responsibilities include training employees and assisting with planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Monitors time and attendance.Provides regular performance feedback and coaching to direct reports including reviews.QualificationsAt least 2 year(s) of prior management experience dealing directly with store inventoryHigh school degree or general education degree (GED) is required for all positionsMust be 21 years or olderMust be able to work days, nights, holidays and weekendsDemonstrated passion to serving the adult cannabis community preferredPrevious experience in a highly regulated industry preferredComputer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. METRC experience preferred.Language Skills: Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written.Knowledge skill and ability to upload position**Shift RequirementsPart-time status requires availability that meets the needs of the store. Part-time Team Members are generally scheduled to work less than an average of 30 hours per week in a measurement period, as defined by STIIIZY and are not guaranteed any particular number of hours per week. Open availability is defined as the ability to work any and all hours required without restrictions as to the time of day or day of week, including, but not limited to, days, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays. Hours are scheduled according to needs of the store and the team member’s availability. Relocation may be required for career progression.**Full-time status requires open availability and ability to work at least an average of 36 hours per week over the course of a year. Open availability is defined as the ability to work any and all hours required without restrictions as to the time of day or day of week, including, but not limited to, days, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays. Team Members meeting these requirements are eligible for benefits within the Company’s full-time benefits program. Hours are scheduled according to needs of the store and the team member’s availability.
