Position Summary
The Supervisor, Resettlement Services will oversee the daily operations of all levels of case management, including pre and post arrival, involving matching grant case management, and ongoing refugee social services and preferred communities (PC) case management services. The overarching goal is to support staff working with individuals and families to create a self-sufficiency plan that will lead toward integrated and successful resettlement.
This position will supervise case management staff working with individuals and families on both short- and long-term goals leading to self-sufficiency and self-reliance. This includes new arrivals, returning clients and secondary migrants. This position will ensure quality and timely service delivery.
The Supervisor, Resettlement Services will support case managers to problem solve services issues, resolve client matters and consult with community organizations to ensure effective case management.
Job Duties
Oversee daily operations of case management staff and services
Support Senior Director of Resettlement Services with establishment of department goals and monitor progress
Supervise staff and ensure adherence to service provision standards and program outcomes
Ensure case management services are provided to clients in consistent and professional fashion
Carry a caseload of individuals and families, as necessary
Provide direct client services to individuals and families when escalated situations occur
Ensure all data tracking for area of supervision is captured and accurate and timely donor reporting for areas of supervision are completed
Cultivate knowledge of, and relationships with, external programs enhancing access and resources for clients to assist with removal of barriers to self-sufficiency and self-reliance
Complete Quality and compliance case file reviews
Cultivate knowledge of, and relationships with, external programs that supplement and enhance refugee programming including a well-developed knowledge of community partners and resources
Supervision and Training:
Supervise case management staff, focusing on client assessment, needs assessment, budget, and self-sufficiency planning, including removal of barriers to self-sufficiency and the development of both short term and long-term goals for self-reliance.
Work to improve program guidance available to staff through updated trainings, program manual and other materials
Conduct regular review of staff files to ensure quality and compliance in provision of services
Perform Hiring, training, performance evaluations & terminations for all direct reports
Identify and coordinate training opportunities for staff to enhance their skills
Develop Department Strategies:
Build partnerships with external stakeholders to enhance resources and access for clients
In partnership with program leadership, develop multi-year operational plans
Work with other department team members to ensure coordinated service between focus areas where possible
Develop, assess, and manage department goals
Leadership based on team empowerment and communication
Program Expansion/Development/Grants Management:
Look for opportunities to enhance current programming through external funding and program development
Ensure compliance with all grant and contract reporting requirements
Other:

. Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities
Knowledge and experience working with refugee, asylee and other immigrant backgrounds
Experience working with clients and staff from a variety of diverse backgrounds
Knowledge and experience in direct service to clients through case management
Knowledge of community resources needed for individuals and families to build toward self-sufficiency and self-reliance
A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse organization
Experience working with limited English-speaking population
Knowledge and experience working with refugees
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills (listening skills, problem solving) to effectively interact with individuals within and outside LFS
Experience supervising others and managing a team approach to service
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Regular and predictable attendance, and promptness for work

Bachelor’s degree in Human Service-related field; Master’s degree preferred
Three to five years of experience working with case management related services
