The Talent Management and Development Partner will be responsible for the development and delivery of talent programs and systems for Munich Re America. Ensure that the workforce is developed and trained in order to create a qualified staff sufficient to achieve business objectives. Major Accountabilities The Talent Management and Development Partner will need to understand and incorporate business goals into training and development programs and curriculums; independently manage multiple development projects from implementation to delivery, and operate at both strategic and tactical levels. This role will work with all levels of the organization. Partner with HR Business Partners to assess skill and performance gaps and deliver solutions for all business units at MRAm. Partner with other TM&D team members to design, develop and deliver proactive creative solutions that support the region’s strategy and business objectives. Facilitate learning solutions to include: individual training, group instruction, self-study, video, and computer-based training to develop employee skills and knowledge. Collaborate with HR Business Partners on change management activities for the business units. Conduct diagnostic needs analysis to determine appropriate instructional design methods, content of training and medium. Conduct research and work with subject matter experts to gain a detailed understanding of project scope and depth. Ensure alignment of training programs with other talent system and initiatives, including high potential programs, career development initiatives and succession planning programs. Support regional talent management programs by implementing entity-specific plans, serving as active career manager to high potential employees, and administering the performance manage process. Maintain interaction and working knowledge of business units across the Company, and create strong business relationships across the organization and regional TM&D team. Manage TM&D Specialist role. Qualifications Basic Knowledge, Skills, And Experience Bachelor’s degree in learning development or related field. Advanced degree/education is preferred. 7+ years of related experience, including instructional design or related training experience, change management and organizational development experience. Knowledgeable with training curriculum design and adult learning methodologies, experience managing direct reports. Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, consultative, organizational and time management skills required. Top notch consultative skills to effectively interact with various levels of employees. Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills required. Microsoft Office software skills required (e.g., PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, Word). Strong analytical skills. Knowledge of insurance business preferred.
