We are looking for an effective Warehouse Operations and Compliance Travel Team Manager who can consistently travel to Tellworks warehouse locations to lead, support and/or train personnel utilizing Tellworks Operational best practices. Additionally, this position will support a Compliance (Safety, SOC, Operational Excellence) Audit role when not directly supporting Operations. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, order fulfillment, inventory and asset management, deployments, cycle counting, safety and compliance. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes meet Tellworks standards of operation. Travel Team Managers will need to be available to travel potentially for extended periods of time with minimal notice.Responsibilities May Include:· Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision· Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations· Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization· Ensure Warehouse compliance to Safety and SOC requirements· Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures· Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements· Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security· Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system· Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies· Plan work schedules, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results· Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees· Produce reports and statistics regularly· Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services providedSkills· Proven work experience as a warehouse manager· Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices· Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives· Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintenance of Service Level Agreements (SLAs)· Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases· Leadership skills and ability to manage staff· Strong decision making and problem-solving skills· Excellent communication skills· BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration or equivalent experience.Job Type: Full-timePay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:All employees are required to follow COVID-19 precautions.Work Location: On the road |
