The position reports directly to the COO.Planning:Development of an annual Sales & Related Expense Plan with quarterly updates, revisions and modifications.The establishment of both annual and monthly sales objectives in coordination with the Company’s strategic business plan.Is responsible for coordinating the specific objectives of the Sales Plan with all of the functional departments of the company.In coordination with the CEO, establishes both market and target customer strategies.Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.Execution:This position is responsible for the successful management of the Company’s Sales team in order to meet the objectives of the company’s overall strategic business plan.Define and manages the monthly and annual sales objectives for all of the sales personnel.Expected to spend some portion of time in the field both with individual accounts and co-traveling with sales personnel.Establish compensation plans for all sales personnel including salary structures, commission plans, sales contests and bonus plans.Develop a complete understanding of competitive environment along with the market and industry trends in order to effectively develop our over sales strategyDevelop regional sales offices in order to better penetrate various market segmentsDevelop Direct to Lessee sales channelProvide monthly management metrics to the members of the senior management team on the progress being made toward achieving the overall plans.VP of Sales Profile:Has managed both in house and field sales personnel.Has been a sales manager in a sales call center environment and preferably the finance industry.Has developed and executed tactical sales plans including quotas and account objectives.Has managed phone sales.Is highly organized and has very effective time management skills.Is a demonstrated leader among employees.Is highly computer literate and uses Salesforce.com or a CRM database tracking program.Strong negotiating skills and capacity.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Equally strong listening skills.Has a strong work ethic with the ability and desire to learn about our business.Willing to roll up your sleeves and get involved.Minimum 8 years, preferably 10, as a sales leader.Other duties that may be assigned by the SupervisorTimePayment is an equal opportunity employer.
