We count on our bright and committed staff to ensure this is accomplished. Currently we are seeking a warehouse facility manager to join our team and manage the California distribution center. This professional multitasker will manage and oversee the receiving, handling, storage and shipping of material within the warehouse ensuring our quality standards are met at every turn. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally detail oriented, and able to track all metrics of the facility at any given time. They must be able to lead the staff and also encourage a good healthy working environment.Warehouse Manager Responsibilities Manage and delegate operations daily with team of up to 20 peopleMonitor staffing levels, department productivity and overall warehouse efficiencyReview PTO requests with department supervisors for approvalMaintain and address any disciplinary matters with warehouse staffReview all Time & Attendance punches for payroll approval and document any attendance issuesConduct Supervisory reviews on a yearly basis or as neededReview employee performance with supervisors on a monthly basisReview facility metrics and budgeting on a monthly basisMonitor daily building safety and securityUpdate and maintain facility contacts, property manager, contractors and vendors as neededEnsure that all lines of communication with sales & warehouse staff are being followedConduct interviews with potential candidates on siteEvaluate warehouse workload and decide on overtime requirementsEnforce all company policies and ensure procedures are being followedCoordinate weekly team meetings along with monthly supervisor meetingsCoordinate all full inventories with department staff and corporate inventory teamsAssure that the Facility is being consistently organized, maintained, and safeCoordinate and assist as needed with Emergency ShipmentsContinuous improvement on warehouse efficiencyDrive cost savings and try to reduce company overheadEvaluate machine requirements and efficiencyOversee raw good inventory (pallets, reels, etc.)Set a professional example in appearance and communicationRequired Skills/Abilities Excellent understanding of warehouse management proceduresExtensive knowledge of inventory control & management toolsProficient computer skillsOutstanding communication skills, both written and verbalOutstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skillsAvailable to work extended hours for emergency shipmentsEducation and Experience No less than 3 years of Warehouse management experienceAssociates degree required$68,000 – $75,000 SalaryJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $65,000.00 – $78,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payEducation:Associate (Preferred)Experience:Warehouse: 3 years (Required)Work Location: One location |
