April 18, 2022: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday instructed the Planning Commission to ensure speedy completion of the public welfare projects, as well as asking the ministries and departments to mutually cooperate.

The prime minister, meeting with vice-chairman of the planning committee Jahanzeb Khan, said the government would resume its development journey without wasting a penny of the public treasury.

He also reiterated his determination to stop public welfare projects from being guided by criminal negligence.

He said the government would bring about economic and commercial development through comprehensive planning and policy consistency.

The Prime Minister also instructed the Deputy Chairman of the Planning Committee to further strengthen the institution.

The deputy chairman informed the prime minister about the development projects that are lurking.
