April 13, 2022 (MLN): Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (SAZEW) sold 1,911 units of Auto Rickshaw in the month of March 2022, which was about 27% higher than 1,504 unit sales in the previous month. PSX showed it today.
In an announcement regarding its tricycle sales and production data for March 2022, the company said production for the month was 1,950 units, ie nearly 26% higher than units produced in the previous month.
In addition, the company sold 71 units of four-wheel, off-road and passenger cars against production of 73 units in the said month.
Sazgar is a leading manufacturer of CNG 4-stroke Auto Rickshaws (3 Wheelers) and Automotive Rims. With manufacturing facilities in Pakistan and a worldwide dealer network, Sazgar is the market leader in Pakistan and also exports to international markets.
Last year, the company was awarded “Category -A, Greenfield Investment status” by the Ministry of Industry and Manufacturing of Pakistan.
Currently, the company’s stock is trading at Rs85.50, which is Rs4.10 or 5.04% higher than yesterday’s price.
