The United States Small Business Administration (SBA) has announced the winners of the Small Business Persons of the Year 2022 from each of the country’s 50 states. The nation’s top entrepreneurs will be formally recognized at the National Small Business Week (NSBW) Awards Ceremony on May 5.

According to the SBA, the winners will be formally recognized on May 5 during National Small Business Week (NSBW) running from May 1-7, 2022. This year’s NSBW theme, “Building a Better America Through Entrepreneurship,” highlights resilience. , ingenuity and creativity of the 32.5 million small American companies.

Celebrating American Entrepreneurship
More than half of Americans own or work for a small business, and they create about two in three new jobs in the US each year. Since 1963, NSBW has recognized the contributions of American entrepreneurs and small business owners.
More than 10 small business awards in various categories are up for grabs during the National Small Business Week Awards. The nominations for the awards will close on January 11, 2022.
“Entrepreneurs are essentially innovators and makers, providing the products and services we depend on and making our neighbourhoods, towns and cities more vibrant to live and work in. They are committed to making their American dream of corporate ownership a reality and thereby advancing the American economy and global competitiveness,” said Isabella Casillas Guzman, head of the SBA.
