Work will be within a dynamic team environment in a fast-paced, highly collaborative organization. The Director develops and maintains relationships with customers and partners to identify and qualify opportunities aligned with Envistacom’s core capabilities. The Director is responsible for providing insights to customers’ budgets, strategic directions, specific requirements, and hot buttons as part of pipeline development and qualification.The successful candidate understands the missions of the respective Agencies and their cultures, organizational components, leadership, major programs and their challenges. The candidate is responsible for leading target Agency strategic planning and positioning with full support from a corporate infrastructure that includes, capture management, proposal development and management, subject matter expertise covering a broad range of portfolio capabilities.Responsibilities include opportunity identification, qualification and maturation to assist Envistacom in determining pursue no pursue decisions. Responsibilities require the candidate to lead throughout the qualification process and stay deeply involved in developing the company’s win strategy and closing the sale. This position is a senior level sales management position and therefore it is expected this individual will manage a dynamic, multi-year pipeline of opportunities in various stages of maturity. The Sales activities will promote the Enterprise, Cloud & Cyber (ECC) services from Envistacom to our client base.Job Responsibilities:Grow the opportunity pipeline, including existing as well as adjacent markets/customers, through diligent and timely identification/qualification of new business opportunities, leveraging company qualifications, customer intimacies, and teaming partners.Develop and execute effective call plans for meetings with target clients, program managers, and industry partners, as well as initiate teaming discussions.Develop and maintain positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including other sales and capture team members, client executives, the proposal managers, corporate infrastructure departments, and program management teams to effectively close sales.Provide customer and opportunity competitive intelligence in support of the Win Themes and Discriminators for identified and tracked opportunities.Meet or exceed established performance goals in support of overall corporate growth and success.Develop customer relationships, improve customer intimacy, and strengthen existing customer relationshipsLead the development of 3–5-year Account PlansClose sales meeting established annual quotaDevelop a pipeline of new opportunities across USAF and SPACE MarketsLead the identification and the qualification of new business opportunities that support business plans, market strategies, account plans, growth goals, and submit targets.Assess strategic fit, identify competition, and recommend potential teammatesLead the early development of the win strategy prior to the assignment of a Capture ManagerWork closely with Capture Manager to transition qualified opportunities to the capture team for strategy developmentExecute targeted call plans to collect information about opportunities; gain an understanding of the customer issues and challenges driving requirements.In collaboration with technical staff, propose and vet potential solutions and approaches; qualify the opportunity; and document findingsPerform Capture Manager responsibilities as needed.Prepare for and brief opportunities at formal gate reviews.
