We’re growing rapidly and looking for smart problem-solvers to join our team and help our clients achieve their business objectives.As Director, Salesforce Operations and Strategy you’ll be responsible for growing our Salesforce practice by increasing our profile in the Salesforce community, expanding current client relationships, and establishing new client relationships. You’ll also serve as a member of the Kander leadership team, leading and managing internal initiatives to support company growth, and mentoring, coaching, and managing junior team members in their professional development. This role is both strategic and critical to the business needs.The candidate will perform day-to-day activities that include managing enhancements of business processes and driving operational efficiencies across the organization. As Salesforce.com is currently our primary system of record that supports not just sales roles but also functions as a platform for several critical operational business processes, the candidate will also serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the administration of the Salesforce.com platformCORE RESPONSIBILITIES Lead current Salesforce engagements, ensuring customer satisfaction and creating opportunities to deepen relationships and grow scopeDrive business development efforts for new Salesforce engagements, building relationships, defining scope, writing contracts, and then leading engagements once signedManage project teams, overseeing project assignments, deliverables, and timelinesMaintain up to 25% billability, building your time into all new contractsEnsure Salesforce partner portal is continually updated with all relevant informationDevelop relationships with the Salesforce sales team to increase our profile and better position Kander for opportunities.Help develop and manage Kander’s Salesforce instance.ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE5-8 Years Salesforce experience5+ Years management experience3+ Year of account management experienceUnique combination of being business-minded and highly analyticalExperience working with technical & functional resources and following an Agile based delivery methodologyInterface and partner with C-level Executives and Senior ManagementAbility to understand the business, business needs and identify areas that can be optimizedAbility to think critically, solve problems, make decisions and build trust across the organizationAbility to guide team on multiple tasks and deliver results with aggressive timelinesExcellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and writtenDemonstrate self-motivation and the ability to grasp concepts quicklyKNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE WITH ANY OF THE FOLLOWING IS A PLUSSalesforce CertificationsDocument Creation tools (Examples: Conga Composer, Drawloop)Electronic Signature Management (Examples: DocuSign, EchoSign)Marketing Automation Platforms (Examples: Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Marketo, Adobe)Salesforce Service CloudSalesforce Community SitesSalesforce CPQSalesforce LightningJob Type: Full-timePay: From $1.00 per yearSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Salesforce: 8 years (Required)Program management: 5 years (Preferred)Work Location: Remote
