We are currently hiring a Manager of Finance! The finance team at BMC serve as trusted finance advisors to the business group and have responsibility for budget, expense and forecasting. As the Finance Manager at BMC, you will report directly to a Director to support the internal finance team and related business partners. What you get to do every day:Support forecast, budgeting, and quarterly reporting cycles with automated and standardized executive packagesCompile and analyze financial information and trends for the consolidated organizationSupport the creation of Strategic Long-Range PlanningAssist with ad-hoc analysis and data mining efforts, when requiredRecommend and implement process improvements using technical solutionsCreate and maintain process documentationCommunicate results and recommendations to management and the business, including executive finance teamDevelop and maintain processes and reports to track key business metricsAnalyze and interpret dataWork with business partners to help them understand the financial impact of their business decisions with accompanying analyticsManage and oversee direct staff Background that will help you succeed:Bachelor’s degree; Finance or Accounting concentration preferredMBA a plusPrevious work experience in the enterprise software industry preferred and finance experience related to software renewals a strong plusStrong knowledge of financial principles and accounting/budgeting practiceStrong analytical skillsAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsExperience managing large data sets within Excel (and advanced skills manipulating said data).Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Tableau a strong plusExperience with Hyperion, Oracle SmartView, Anaplan, OneStream financial systemsUnderstanding of core finance business processes to ensure timely delivery of financial results including Quarterly Business Reviews, close process, SOX controls, and AuditUses logic and work experience to solve complex problems in an effective way #LI-Remote From core to cloud to edge, BMC delivers the software and services that enable over 10,000 global customers, including 84% of the Forbes Global 100, to thrive in their ongoing evolution to an Autonomous Digital Enterprise.
